Monday, Nov. 5: Salisbury steak in broth, parsley potatoes, mixed vegetables, wheat roll and margarine, sliced peaches, and one percent milk.

Tuesday, Nov. 6: Election day, all activities cancelled.

Wednesday, Nov. 7: Mediterranean turkey with gravy, redskin potatoes, mixed green beans, whole wheat roll and margarine, diced fruit, and 100 percent orange juice.

Thursday, Nov. 8: Chicken gumbo with turkey sausage, tossed salad with tomatoes and French dressing, potato roll and margarine, and 100 percent pineapple juice.

Friday, Nov. 9: Pollock almondine, au gratin potatoes, cole slaw with red peppers, multi-grain roll and margarine, fruit mix, and one percent milk.

SAGINAW COUNTY

Monday, Nov. 5: Ham and bean Waikiki, brown rice, winter squash, tropical fruit salad, and whole wheat bread.

Tuesday, Nov. 6: Gold Coast pork chop, potatoes continental, Capri vegetable blend, apple with raisins and nuts, and whole wheat bread.

Wednesday, Nov. 7: Sloppy joe, succotash, sliced potatoes, and Jell-o with pears.

Thursday, Nov. 8: Lemon dijon chicken, prebaked potato, sour cream, cabbage and carrots, peaches, and multi-grain dinner roll.

Friday, Nov. 9: Salisbury steak with gravy, diced redskin potatoes, Normandy style vegetables, mandarin oranges, whole wheat bread, and chocolate milk.

GCARD Thanksgiving luncheon will be on Wednesday, Nov. 20. You must sign up by Nov. 1.

The Montrose Senior Center will host a craft show on Friday, Nov. 30 and Saturday, Dec. 1. Crafters are wanted. Tables are $10 and all craft items must be handmade (no garage sale items) and under $20 (they are advertising through the schools). For more information, contact the center.

Line dancing is cancelled until further notice.

The Chesaning seniors are having a silent auction at this time. Please donate an item for the auction. Folks in the community are welcome to stop in and place bids on the items. Donations are always appreciated.

We will be having “Bring a Friend Day” on Wednesday, Nov. 28. If you bring a senior friend to lunch who has not previously been to the center, both of you will receive a free lunch. You must sign up in advance.

Puzzles and all board games are always available.

Albee Senior Friends meet for activities from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays at the Albee Community Center. Registration is not required. People who wish to participate may bring a friend. Programs change weekly.
